Class

The currently revealed classes on the attribute wheel.

Six classes are included in PoE. Classes are nearly identical balance wise, there are only two small differences. One attribute classes (Witch, Ranger, Marauder) Have 30 attribute points corresponding with its alignment. Dual classes (Dex / Int, Duelist and Templar) have 22 in their two favored alignments. The picture to the left shows the starting position on the Skill Forest, the center being a possible 7th unannounced but considered class.

Currently Revealed Classes

Marauder (revealed September 2, 2010)

The Marauder specializes in the Strength attribute and starts to the South-West in the skill tree. .

Ranger (revealed September 2, 2010)

The Ranger specializes in the Dexterity attribute and starts to the South-East in the skill forest.

Witch (revealed December 18, 2010)

The Witch specializes in the Intelligence attribute and starts to the North in the skill tree.

Duelist (Some-Time-Before-I-Was-Playing)

The Duelist is the Strength and Dexterity hybrid and starts in the South of the skill tree.

Dex/Int (TBA)

This class has not yet been revealed.

Templar

The Templar is the Intelligence and Strength hybrid and starts in the North West of the skill tree.
