Twilight Strand
A ranger battles Hillock in the Twilight Strand
Description
- The Twilight Strand is the beach on which the player is first abandoned. The small strip of beach is hemmed in on one side by the ocean and on the other by huge stone cliffs. Pieces of wrecked ships and dead sailors and litter the beach, doomed by the frequent storms that strike the area.
Context
- This is the beginning tutorial area of the game. The player is washed ashore with nothing and must immediately fight to survive with nothing more than a piece of driftwood, The Twilight Strand is meant to introduce the player to the basic concepts of the game including fighting monsters, scavenging loot, and equipping gear.
